About the Hosts

Evan Bruner

Evan has been involved in sports for almost his entire life. He started playing t-ball when he was three years old and continued participating in sports throughout high school. While his competition days are behind him, sports still play a massive role in Evan’s life and are the main reason he’s studying journalism at NCC. Growing up in the Chicagoland area, Evan had no choice but to be a Chicago sports fan. Most notably, he’s a diehard Bears fan who remains loyal, no matter how many times they break his heart.

Andy Jachim

Originally from Bartlett, Andy spent two years at Carthage College in Kenosha before deciding to return closer to home to finish his undergrad at NCC. His passion as a sports broadcaster was born his sophomore year of high school when he began calling basketball and football games, and sports broadcasting is now the career he’s pursuing. Andy is a fan of the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, and Michigan State Spartans. When he’s not cheering on his favorite teams, he enjoys listening to a wide variety of music and spending time with his family and friends.
